Avalon Expo 2 is coming up and Gold & Steel are going to be a major part of it!
From Friday to Sunday (August 26th-28th) at the Centre des Grand-Vents at 65 Ridge Road in St. John’s, Newfoundland, you can meet author Christopher Walsh and pick yourself up a copy of As Fierce as Steel if you haven’t already.
What’s so major about that? Well, for the first time ever, author Christopher Walsh and editor Erin Vance will be hosting a panel! Taking place at 2pm on Friday afternoon in Hall Nova, the panel is titled Fierce Women: The Representation of Women in Fantasy and as that title suggests, will be an open discussion on the evolution of the roles women characters are given in Fantasy, Sci-Fi and beyond.

Christopher Walsh will be bringing Gold & Steel on the road for the first time from September 23rd to the 25th, 2016 when he rolls into Corner Brook as part of the fifth annual Atlanti-Con convention! If you live on the west coast of Newfoundland, this will be your chance to meet the author and check out the new series that has people talking. That’s not all! Christopher will also be presenting Fierce Women: The Representation of Women in Fantasy at Atlanti-Con as well! The time, date and specific venue within the Civic Centre for the panel will be announced at a later date.
