First look at As Fierce as Steel in Hardcover

This is it, folks: Book #1. This one is mine, but there will be 110 more in this shipment to go on sale at Sci-Fi on the Rock, but this is the first. Right up until now, it never felt real to me. It was always “I’ve got a book coming out sometime.” But now, to actually hold a physical copy of it in my hands, it’s real.

And yet, this is just another step, this is not the end goal, not by a long shot. Having a book in hand that I wrote is a major step, I’m ridiculously happy right now just looking at it. However, the next step is to get the first part of the Gold & Steel story out there so that I can continue to write the rest of it.

Gold & Steel fans, here it is! The first official copy of As Fierce as Steel, in hardcover format. If you missed the announcement over the weekend, the dream became reality.

We’re just thirty two days away, as of this writing (February 29th, 2016) from the release date of April 1st, 2016 of Gold & Steel‘s inaugural entry: As Fierce as Steel. That will be your chance to own your very own copy and the place to be to ensure you get it (and get it autographed by author Christopher Walsh and even illustrator Christina Hamlyn) is Sci-Fi on the Rock 10 which will be taking place from April 1st to the 3rd at the Sheraton Hotel in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

As was said in the above Facebook post, there will be 110 copies printed for the release event. Each copy will be individually numbered by Christopher Walsh in person.

Come on out and support Walsh, Christina Hamlyn and other local writers and artists at Sci-Fi on the Rock and come be apart of Newfoundland’s largest gathering of all things Sci-Fi and Fantasy on April 1st.
